The new anime called Scum’s Wish (Kuzu no Honkai) has been a massive hit – despite the controversy around it’s streaming publisher and content. The anime is only available through Amazon’s new Anime Strike channel which is an optional paid add-on to their existing Amazon Prime service. For viewers in areas where Amazon Prime does not run, there is a high chance that their alternate service called Prime Video does – this applies to areas like Australia. This service is free for the first week and $3 USD afterward; this includes their new anime library as well as other shows.


Despite its success on websites like MyAnimeList, other outlets like J-List Blog have scrutinized it for its over-the-top kissing scenes and other sexual encounters. Although scrutiny has arisen, many viewers like the raw and natural look at relationships that the show displays – saying it is a very fresh and new take on relationships for an anime.


This is my favorite anime for this season and I hope it continues to be as good as it has been up until now!
